This is not exactly in the topic but it has a great deal to do with topic, considering veganism has a lot to do with nature.
I don’t know how many if you know what MLM’s are or are aware you might be influenced by them.
I don’t know how many people actually understand that they work on the cult like mentality. (Us vs. Them)
Informing yourself from more than one source is extremely important. Exactly for the reason of how MLM’s unethically take advantages and target people, and how much damage they leave behind.
What are MLM’s:
MLM are multi level marketings which work in a way like that “shape” marketing does, but by selling products: they recruit people who need to recruit people to sell products (to get “rich” be independent and successful), but in reality most people loose money and only the top actually makes it.
Examples: Dotera, Herbalife, Avon, Young living essential oils, Beach Body, Tupperware...
They are selling their products on extraordinary claims of working, by putting it on the sellers to sell it to people, but the company gets away with it, because they directly didn’t make those claims. (Like forget cancer treatment, we have the real cure).
Some of them actually also have a lot to do with antivaxx movement and also very dangerous or ineffective diet culture, just for example.
And they are doing it by exploitation, on a level like cults exploit their .

I feel so bad to some of my family and other’s who have succumbed to this. It’s unavoidable, especially on Facebook.

You are incorrect: this has nothing to do with veganism.
Not with veganism on its own but def with some vegans.
Yeah I hate these things. You get family selling it and friends adding you to their selling pages. It's just junk to me
