Yuca is the root of a bush, native of   Sudamerica It is similar to potatoes, although its skin is harder. It is a good source of energy for its amount of carbohydrates and sugars. This portion I show was first boiled with salt for about fifteen minutes; first you have to cut the skin. When it is tender, it is put in the oven for 15 minutes with oil at 200 degrees C.
