The Danish film archive has digitally released a trove of 200+ stills from the silent film Häxan, which turns 100 this year.
Häxan was a Swedish film released in 1922 and deals with the topic of witchcraft. It’s one part documentary and three parts fantasy, and is absolutely stunning for the period it was made.
