Hello, once again KA!~ I couldn't settle down with only one Dream collab for the #507Project Today I shall present you:

Radwimps is a Japanese rock band formed in 2001, who debuted independently in 2003. Their name is a mix of the English words "Rad" and "Wimp". It is a term they coined themselves meaning "excellent weakling" or "superlative coward". Sometimes they go by the shortened version of their name, Rad. Their record company is EMI Music Japan.They gained a lot of popularity worldwide after releasing their album Your Name, the soundtrack for the notorious anime film Your Name (Kimi no Na wa)

How I found them:

I, myself, found them through Kimi no Na wa. Their music instantly got to me, the way their voices sounded, their style and how much the music made the movie even better. From then on I gradually got acquainted with all of their music and I ended up being a huge fan of theirs. Their songs are emotional, but not dreary in any way and that is one of the many reasons I love Radwimps.

Day6 is a South Korean boy band which debuted on September 7, 2015 under JYP Entertainment. They used to have a sixth member (Junhyuk), who later departed from the band because of a dating scandal. The originally 6 represent the first six days of the week with their fans representing the seventh day, hence their official fandom being called My Day.

How I found them:

After years of avoiding it (which I do regret), when I finally let myself dive head first into the deep blue ocean that is Kpop, finding Day6 was like finding The Lost City of Atlantis. Their music is gorgeous, emotional, sincere and I found myself being beyond captivated by it. The are incredible, their lyrics are genius. I couldn't believe how breath-taking their music is. I never thought it was possible for me to get so personally attached to music and to people I've never met. I could go on about Day6 all day (pun not intended), but instead I'll just link this previous post of mine where I've explained everything in a little more detail : ELYSIAN

The bands have arguably similar concepts, or at least partnering ones, their voices are UNIQUE and would work perfectly together to create a Euphoria.

It would be a gorgeous song, which I imagine to be called The Butterfly Effect, just like the collab's name. It would be an emotional song with a more up-beat sound and it would tell an entire story. The whole theme would be blue, and the music video would, literally and figuratively, have a butterfly. Full of pastel colours, running water, sunny days, but there would also be a scene or two from the video where the whole scenario, the surroundings turn dark, or perhaps night falls, signifying the destructive forces of a single flap of a butterlfy's wings. The ending would either return to the former light-hearted appearance, or perhaps be left open to interpretation. The song itself would be sung in 3 languages: Japanese, Korean and English respectively and I believe there would be different versions of it, probably including a full English version. I can easily imagined these two amazing bands reaching out to one another and collaborating on what I would like to call The International Song of The Century :tm: . Don't you agree?
