Alright my lovely mischiefvers, time to talk. As I hope you guys have noticed, I’ve always been a ive and fair leader. But I feel like I need to be stern for once so that this message gets through to the people that need to hear it. I will not be signaling anyone out and I do not want to read any comments were anyone is being signaled out. No rudeness will be tolerated here. Please don’t be scared tho, I love you all like family so it just pains me to see so much unnecessary arguing and uncalled for rudeness.

First, The Community Guidelines have been very carefully made to protect everyone in this Animo. They are not flimsy rules you can interpret however you like. They most be followed and the Curators and Leaders are the ONLY ones who can enforce them. can help us by flagging things they think break the rules and they can message us with their evidence but going to a point and demanding a post be taken down is NOT allowed. You may think you are helping but it only makes our job harder. You MAY ask them POLITELY to take it down and CALMLY explain why you are telling them this but NOTHING more than that. If they do not take it down, you flag it or message us. Done.

Second, if you have a post you want to make and are unsure if it’s allowed or not, you should always ask a Curator in PM first, before posting. If you have already posted it and someone tell you politely that you should take it down, listen to their reasons. Now IF they rudely ask you to take it down, DO NOT respond angrily. Rude on rude comments do NOT help. Politely ignore the message and report it, while also explaining you mistake in posting it, but do NOT engage in rudeness.

There is no need to defend with violence, even IN the face of violence. There’s simply a person behind that screen. You have no idea why they are commenting the way they are. You do not know if they are struggling with something and simply taking it out on you. I am NOT justifying their actions, only humanizing them. ENOUGH Rude on Rude action.

Third, to the last important bit. Everyone has different opinions. Not everyone will like the same things as you. We may all be related in the fact that we are in some way interested in Loki, but even that can be done in different ways. Some may want to BE Loki. Some maybe want to be WITH Loki, be it romantically or otherwise. We are all different. So having different opinions if fine, but shutting down others for having a different opinion is NOT okay. Respect each other. But just because we CAN have different opinions and SHOULD respect each other, does not give us the right to rudely DEMAND respect. So on this point, it is not okay to preach that having different opinions is okay and should be respected WHILE being at the same time rude about it.

Now a few things to do:

•If you don’t like content but it doesn’t break guidelines, simply ignore it and continue with the many other content that this community has to offer.

•If you find content that breaks guidelines, either politely comment and explain why it should be removed or simply flag and move on.

•If you encounter hate of some of the content you have provided, simply ignore their rudeness and report it and move on.

•If you encounter that one of your post has broken a guideline and someone has politely explained it, remove it and move on.

•If you encounter that one of your post has broken a guideline and someone has rudely pointed it out, report the rudeness but also remove the post as to follow the rules and avoid penalties by the curators.

All in all, NOTHING excuses rudeness or hate. Look, as someone who I very much ire once said(and I’ll add their video at the end cause it’s very relevant to this situation)

”Empathizing with someone you profoundly disagree with does not suddenly compromise your own deeply held beliefs and endorse theirs.”

This means that being nice to someone does not automatically make you agree with them, it only shows you’re acknowledging them as people.

So be kind to each other!

Respect each other!

Be Mischievous, but not Disrespectful.

Be Chaotic, but not Rude.
