There was always a crowd of people surrounding him.
Both girls and guys wanted him.
They wanted him, they wanted his love.
‘So did I.’
I was just like them.
He was perfect.
He never smoked, drank, and he was always on time for class.
‘You were the model student and I was the trouble maker.’
He was the teacher’s pet, they loved him.
‘They disliked me.’
I want to be like him, I had to be like him.
‘You were perfect, I want to be you.’
Everyone loved him, everyone wanted him.
‘So did I.’
I was just like them.
He was perfect, I had to be perfect.
‘I wanted to be you.’
Perfection was absolute.
‘You were the epitome of perfection.’
I wanted to be him.
I was you.
You were me.
We finally became one.

Aww 🥰 thank youu! Tbh i didn’t know the poem would have a dark ending. I wanted to create an image of the person seeing the popular guy being surrounded by people while one person is looking at the crowd with intense hate/obsession.
Ik in the beginning their inner thoughts of the person was first iration/infatuation. Then as you continue to read it, it turns into obsession and at the end the person succeeded their goal. You could interpret however you want, they finally became the popular guy and received tons of affection by their peers by killing the guy.

This probably won’t make any sense but the way I interrupted the ending is that the person fused their bodies together so they become a perfect being. That’s the end they say “we finally become one”
