The best things in life are free

Especially melons. There is a story behind this free melon.

I was in a meeting at a customer’s headquarters. They, like several of my customers are in the agriculture business. I love visiting this customer. They grow many things including massive quantities of onions, sometimes the aroma is intoxicating.

Today as we spoke in our meeting. There was a group of people behind me, maybe 25 feet away. I could not see them, I could not make out what they were saying. But I could smell melons. They were sampling fruit. There were stacks of melon boxes everywhere, and everybody seemed to have a melon or two in hand. Lots of smiles.

Well, I left with mine and I couldn’t wait to eat it. I have been thinking about it since yesterday. So I ate half for breakfast. Deeeeeelicious!
