Remy doesn't his mother, she was killed by pirates when he was 2, and his Father falsely explained to him that his Mother was just sick. His Father taught him how to Fish and Sail when he was 8. When Remy turned 16, his Father gave him a sword and taught him how to fight. Remy had always dreamt of becoming a pirate and the idea of Sailing with a crew and plundering treasure was very appealing to him as a kid. He's been practicing his swordfighting everyday and helping his Father with his fishing business up until a few months ago, when he had finally decided to leave the fishing business and pursue his dreams as a pirate.
