☼ this quirk allows the temporary super strength and enhanced agility after cutting their own skin. blood must be drawn in order for the quirk to work, and the amount and duration of the strength is determined by how large of a laceration is made. smaller lacerations, such as a paper cut or catlike scratch, allow around 5-10 minutes of enhanced strength, while larger cuts allow for up to an hour of near invincibility.

☼ must make a laceration to their own skin, anywhere on the body, and they must draw blood.

☼ large wounds can cause severe blood loss and even loss of consciousness if not attended to in time. this causes the severe anemia and blood clotting issues.

☼ during a fight when yuzuki was 6 years old, she accidentally scratched herself while attempting to defend another, younger girl. she felt a surge of strength and energy, a feeling she was unfamiliar with, and found herself pushing the offending child away with more strength than a 6 year old should have. she grabbed the younger child, dragging them away with her. she didn't realize at first what had happened, assuming it was simply a rush of adrenaline from being injured.

she didn't truly realize what had happened until about a year later when, in during a house fire that ended up killing her birth parents, she cut herself deeply on a piece of glass. she had been lodged underneath a collapsed beam, unable to move, when the same surge of strength she had felt before rushed through her body once more. she pushed the beam off of herself, rushing out of the building as fast as she could. it wasn't until the quirk wore off that she became bone tired, collapsing and ing out inside the ambulance that had been called to rescue her.

☼ RED RAMPAGE: when the makes a deep enough wound, the quirk triggers a massive increase in strength for up to an hour. in this state, the becomes near invincible, able to shatter metal, lift colossal structures, and even resist large-scale attacks. however, the toll on the body is very intense, leaving the incapacitated for several hours after using it-- making the hesitant to use the move too often.

C.hildhood

☼ yuzuki was born in shizuoka prefecture to parents haruka and kentaro chihara. haruka had a simple enhancement quirk, allowing her to become temporarily stronger for short bursts of time, while her father, kentaro's quirk, allowed him to harden his own blood into tools or weapons-- only for a short while though. her mother wasn't around much, as her quirk allowed her to work in a nearby mining plant for long hours. she would often be at work until late in the night, and yuzuki would already be fast asleep by the time she arrived home.

because of this, yuzuki became very close to her father-- a psychiatrist, who often worked from home. she was homeschooled by her parents, as they had the money to do so and worried about yuzuki socially. she wasn't a very social girl in her youth, after all.

the first time she used her quirk was protecting a younger girl from a bully at their local park, accidentally scratching herself when stepping between them and subsequently activating her quirk for the first time.

when she was seven years old, a horrible fire broke out in her home, trapping her and her parents inside the burning building. she was trapped under a metal beam, unable to move, when she cut herself deeply on a piece of shattered glass. she managed to push the beam off of herself, making a break for the front door. she bashed it open, stumbling into the front yard. she was brought into the ambulance, and when her quirk finally wore off, she ed out cold. she didn't find out until later that neither of her parents made it out, both perishing in the fire.
