Since I finally got my first ACTUAL lolita dress, not that blue hot topic dress (which is what I used for my first ATTEMPT at lolita)
The first coord is my favorite out of the two but it feels very otome (which is somewhat similar to classic lolita but it's not the same) but not quite.

The thing is its my first actual coord so theres still some improvement to go.
Btw the bolero and socks are burgundy and the shoes are brown but the camera didn't really pick it up.
The second coord is my attempt at doing something more casual but sweet-ish and hopefully you can see the bow in the back.

I feel like I didnt really make it into a lolita coord, it looks more inspired by the fashion rather than a part of it, but again my aim was for something a bit more causal
(Even though both of them are extra af but lolita is a pretty extra fashion tbh)
Excuse the lack of floof cuz my petti is from leg Avenue, and before you guys get your pitchforks I got it last year before I really had any intentions of wearing the fashion, it was for another dress.
Hope this isnt too ita and if you actually read the whole way through, uhhhh good for you my guy. Pat on the back.
Also I felt like covering my face since I didnt have ant makeup on, on reddit you can see the classic coord but only that one photo without the emoji covering my face, but for laziness and consistancy's sake I put an emoji on all of them since some of the pictures are with me without makeup, and I'm a believer in wearing makeup in lolita. Sooo pleasure excuse that.
This went on for too long
Bye

that pink sweater is adorbs!
Thank you!!
Oh sorry, you mentioned a bow and I thought you meant on the dress. Yes, I see the bow on the back of your head! Gotta have some cute bows :sparkling_heart:
I think both looks are cute. I am curious why you wore the pullover sweater on top, instead of under the bodice of the JSK? Don't mean to be rude.. it's a very pretty ruffly jumper ! Does it have a waist bow in the back?
I might try that, and no worries you're not being rude at all. The thing it the sweater is quite thick so zipping it up might be a bit of a struggle, so that's why I put it over. But I might try that out. Thanks!!

Sure, I tend to miss important details in people's posts and I see you were going for a casual look. Just that the bodice trims make bumps on the front of the sweater. Other than that, I think you're on the right track. I'm new myself and have done a couple of handmade co-ords. Best of luck, and have fun with the fashion!!
