Who knows how much these marvel movies could have made, if everything wasn't going on that's happening now; investors only see what it did make sadly. The Asian market is Big for Marvel movies, with that said ;I have good faith that Shang-Chi will never feel like a sidekick or a side character in the future MCU movies.
I enjoyed the movie, can't wait to see them utilize even more Asian talent in the future veterans and new to the craft.
It's going to be interesting seeing Shang-Chi meet Blade.
I enjoyed it a lot actually.
do I feel like it's another film overhyped just like Black Panther? Of course. Now I'm not saying Black Panther or Shang-Chi are by means bad movies at all. If anything I really love them. Just feel like I been seeing lots of people saying "It's the best Marvel movie ever! Go watch it, watch now! The mid credit is Endgame level!" Which I have no problem with at all. People have the rights to have their opinions and honestly can't blame them. This movie did a lot and I can acknowledge that and it's different than any other Marvel movie WHICH I love and always like to have a unique movie.
My final verdict is that it's an amazing movie, had me laugh a lot, it's also a beautiful movie and yes the mid credit sets a lot which I won't spoil but felt like people hyped the mid credit way too much making me expect something else. Which yes it is my own wrong doing.
Rate: 4 Stars out of 5.
It's almost not fair for me to comment on this film. Not only I used to the original comic series, but, MARVEL should have turned this over to an Asian studio with MARVEL supervision. Tony Leung was wasted in this film otherwise, the casted was bad. Awkwafina's character was sooooo annoying, her voice grated on my ears. If this is typical of Phase Four, we don't have much to look forward to.
I enjoy it, fast pace and good origin story for the big screen. Have to say I know nothing of the character before this but now excited to see more…at least on the big screen :+1: :v:
