(This is really a mess because I wrote an introduction that answered some of the icebreaker questions, and so the rest of the answers are not in order)

Hi! My name is Andi, I'm in high school, and I love to plan! I've been interested in bullet journalling since ~4 years ago, and I bullet journaled on and off for 1.5 years when I first became interested. Back then, I fell into the rabbit hole of beautiful and intricate spreads, and it just wasn't a good fit for me personally. I've now committed to a much simpler bullet journal and I've been using this same simple method for 2 years. I'm nearing the end of my second journal and I'm excited to reach the third! Even though I DO have a journal, I'm opting for option 2 for the icebreaker because my artistic ability isn't up to par, and making spreads doesn't really encom me as a bullet journaler.

I found this amino 4 years ago when I was REALLY deep in bullet journal youtube.

In 5 years, I will probably have graduated high school and be in university. I hope I can keep up with bullet journaling throughout my life.

Because of my minimalistic approach to bullet journaling, I strongly believe that the best way to bullet journal effectively for productivity is to have minimal supplies. With that being said, I still love stationery, and I have some pretty spicy opinions on it.

- I think spiral-bound notebooks are the best thing ever

- I like lined pages

- I have a whole thing with only using 1 pen to write in my journal. I'm trying to see how long it takes to finish a 12-pack of pens I bought last year.

- I only use color SPARINGLY in my journal to label very important events. I've only used color 3 times in my current notebook.

To be fair, my opinions are also influenced by the price of stationery items, and I feel so much more independent when I spend my money on the things I love in an economical way.

For me, my favorite part about journaling is how it can increase my productivity and how it makes me feel like I have more time in the day than other people. This is pretty random, but I also love feeling the backs of pages I've written on, where the indentation from the writing on the other side is so pronounced that it's almost like braille.

I have many hobbies outside of journaling. A lot of them are related to paper for some reason? I like making my own paper, folding origami, bookbinding, sewing, and knitting.

I'm not really a "spread" kind of gal, so... yeah

My favorite youtube video is this one about to-do lists. I permanently have it in my watch later list to give me motivation.

Even though I like to use a minimalistic journal/layout now, I still have some decent experience with more complex spreads. Sometimes I like to design hypothetical bullet journal spreads that are not in my style at all. I also try to make all of my hypothetical spreads using the least amount of materials possible.
