Just Brief Description
Each month, we hold events , each one has a theme or prompt or idea behind it .
And to participate you just need to complete the appropriate theme , etc , with a piece of artwork or whatever media you choose to do so.. for the challenge at the time .
You can choose on which events you want to do ahead of schedule , so have fun and enjoy yourself .
More will be added along the way . So keep checking back to see what else is in this community. A wiki/Blog , will be released with each of the events , challenges, activities details etc .

An art challenge or activity is great for these reasons .
♡To improve your technique in a certain medium
♡To master drawing or painting or a certain subject
♡To create art for an exhibition or book
♡To develop your art style
♡To build a portfolio
♡Or just because you love art .

Some events might not make it out .. but these are planned events so anything could happen . . Also there are more events like Critique Monday that still hasn't been added .

I had an idea for a January challenge idk if I’m allowed to like make suggestions but hear me out a redraw from the previous year challenge? Like to show the progress you made in the last year for the new year if that makes any sense
I have so many things install for next year .. I had already had something similar in mind , but not for January.. thks anyway

The idea for a personal project hit and I was like “I bet that would make a great idea for a community challenge” and wanted to share it !
Sorry (˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ ), I'm new on this app but is the event calendar what we do for the year or....? If it is, why are some events on some months missing

Does this Events Callander include stuff like monthly challenges such as Smaugust, Inktober ect or is it just about smaller challenges that only last a day to a couple of days?

Inktober was there already ..
I do still have more to add, but they might not be the same ones as you are usually used to .. im changing things up
