Hello everyone! How are you all? I’m here with some more art. I haven’t been drawing as often I once did, but I can say I’m getting there  ! This time I decided to draw Aphrodite, the Ancient Greek goddess of love. Also warning:there will be brief nudity in the picture of the Greek goddess. I will try to censor it where I can. Anyway, onto the art!

Now, as I said above, this drawing is of the ancient Greek goddess known as Aphrodite. I did drawings of many of the Greek goddesses a long while ago, but I wanted to try my hand at it again! Aphrodite was the Greek goddess of love, beauty, and ion. And personally I find her fascinating..  . I love doing drawings based on Greek mythological figures since they can be interpreted in so many ways  . I decided to do Aphrodite with a pink traditional Greek tunic. I also left one of her breasts out, due to what she symbolizes. I think it turned out pretty solid overall, and I can say I’m pleased with it. Here are the materials I used..

Materials used:

-Tombow brush pens

-Micron 01 liner

-Pink eraser

-#2 pencil

-Crayola colored pencils

-Prismacolor colored pencils

-Reflexions sketchbook

-iPhone camera

-Various music in the background

Now, for my second Grecian-esque drawing. I decided to do just an original Greek woman! She’s probably an Athenian(woman of Athens). I honestly love the look of how ladies looked back then, so I took it and ran with it  . I made her look a little more like a statue than a real lady of the time. I really love how this one turned out. It’s not perfect, but I feel like it’s one of my recent best 🤩. There’s so much you can with Ancient Greece! I also love how I did the background with my chalk pastels. It’s not something I do often, but I hope I can do more of it soon…we’ll see! What do you think about it?

Materials used:

-#2 pencil

-Pink eraser

-Crayola colored pencils

-Charcoal and blender

-Chalk pastels

-Reflexions sketchbook

-iPhone camera and editor

-Various music in the background

I think that’s about it. I hope you enjoyed the drawings! Which one was your favorite and why? And until next time, keep on drawing and have a lovely weekend. Farewell!
